This weekend, our Rooted Return series continues as we open Ephesians 2:1–10.
I encourage you to read this passage in a few different translations and take note of what stands out.
Notice how the passage begins with death, self-serving ways, and God’s anger. See the dramatic change when Jesus enters– life and glory! Reflect on what it means to be God’s masterpiece — created to make a real difference in this world.
Who are the dead and who are the alive? How do we move from death to life? What does it mean to be God’s masterpiece? What good works are we called to do?
