Baptism

Baptism

This weekend we celebrate. We celebrate because Jesus rose from the dead!

Come Sunday to witness the baptisms of those who are declaring their death to the old life and their resurrection into the new life of Jesus Christ!

The power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ is changing lives!

Be A Berean

The King has one last move

There was once a beautiful garden, a perfect world, no sin, no trouble, no war, no pain, no hatred, no bitterness, no dying, no brokenness - but then Satan, the deceiver, led Adam and Eve astray and they disobeyed God – their fellowship with the Father was broken , sin began to reign, they were expelled from the beauty of the garden, thorns began to grow, they were tired and weary, shame and guilt enveloped them, all seemed vain and hopeless, wearying, barren, broken. On a “Good Friday” a couple thousand years ago, it seemed like Satan had Jesus in “checkmate” … but… “Having disarmed the powers and authorities, he [Jesus] made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”   (Col 2:15)

Our enemy wants us to believe that he has us in “checkmate”, but no matter how bleak the situation looks, no matter how trapped and hopeless we feel, it we reach out with the response of faith, we will find that Jesus, our Lord, our King, always has one last move.

“I pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. this is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead…” Eph 1:19-20

Looking forward to worshipping with you!
Gene, Jeremy and Caleb
