Volunteer FairSunday, August 11, 2024 Can you believe it's less than 4 weeks till September is here? I can hear your groans! I didn't even mention anything about fall, or winter or snow! As we move back indoors in September, we are expectant about a great launch to our fall season at the church. September brings us new beginnings! We will be launching kids’ ministry as well as life groups. Our team has already put a lot of thought into launch this fall, and I can assure you can look forward to this season. This weekend we are having a volunteer fair. To start our fall well we are looking for great volunteers like yourselves! People who are ready to invest themselves into our shared life and vision at Transformation Church. It's a great Sunday for this as we will be enjoying a BBQ! Please come wander around the cafe with your food, meet the ministry leaders, and leave your "footprint" on our sign-up sheets! Looking forward to seeing you there! |
Be A Berean70 x 7 – Bitterness or forgiveness In Matthew 18:21-35 Jesus brings us the parable of the unmerciful servant and the grace, mercy and generosity of the king. There are laws of nature and there are laws of the spiritual realm, and as with the law of gravity, for instance, whether you believe in the law of gravity or not, it will nevertheless always be there and will always affect your life, for good or bad depending on your response to it – ignore it or violate it and suffer; honor it and be safe. The same is true in the spiritual realm, and the law of forgiveness is one such law. Ignore or violate it and suffer; honor it and live in peace. We will be digging into what Jesus has to say about forgiveness, and we will be thinking together about: Why forgive? What forgiveness is not. What forgiveness is How we can forgive.
