Life Group Launch SundaySeptember 8th, 2024 At Transformation Church, our desire is to see us connecting with each other and learning to follow Jesus together. Community is vital. It is the Jesus way. Joining a Life Group is an effective way to build this community. We will be having a Life Group launch on Sunday, September 8th. We will hear a little bit from the Life Group Leaders during the service and after the service we will be having a Life Group Fair. Life group leaders will be available in the cafe to chat with. This will be a good opportunity to sign up for a Life Group. Please come for September 8th. It's an important service to be at!

Be A BereanWedding Lanterns Jesus just finished, in Matthew 24, speaking about the signs of the end of the age and his second coming, and then he goes directly into a parable – the NIV puts it this way “At that time the Kingdom of Heaven will be like…” and then he tells this story in Matthew 25:1-13 of ten bridesmaids, five of whom were wise and prepared and were welcomed into the wedding feast, and five who were foolish and unprepared, and were excluded from the wedding celebration. What is Jesus seeking to communicate in this parable? We will be looking together at three warnings from this story, about being properly prepared to meet Jesus when he returns, and then we will consider a great encouragement about the wedding feast and the welcome given to those who are properly prepared. Why don’t you read Matthew 25:1-13 and we will dig into it on Sunday morning. Blessings to you all! Jeremy, Gene and Caleb |
