Family Matters
This weekend we launch a sermon series titled "Family Matters". You got it! You can read this at least two ways. Since “Family Matters” we look forward to discussing “Family Matters!” We are excited for what God will be doing among us as we look at some practical ways in which to enhance our family connection at Transformation Church. Family is central to God's heart for humanity. May this be so among us.

Be A Berean
Christmas day has come and gone and if you are familiar with that time of year it is a day that tends to be pretty popular. We get to see family, we get to exchange gifts, and maybe…..just maybe you go to see the Bob Dylan Movie in theatres. (or not) Bob Dylan is considered by many to be a brilliant musician and poet. He had a way of making people think deeply through his music. Dylan was clearly someone who thought deeply and whether he wanted to or not, has made a difference in culture. Our culture today tends to praise individual people, whether it be celebrities, artists, politicians, youtubers and the list goes on. The truth is that the margin for becoming a celebrity is thinner then it used to be with the use of social media. The famous Andy Warhol quote rings true as he says, “In the future, everyone will be world famous for 15 minutes.” Our culture emphasizes being an amazing individual. Being amazing is important, but Scripture talks less about being an amazing individual and more about being an amazing community. This Sunday, we are going to talk about what it means to become a community that might in the same way, one day have a movie written about it like Bob Dylan did. Encouraged reading is Romans 12:3-13. Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. Blessings, Caleb, Gene and Jeremy |
